Conclusion
By integrating the rejuWATER® STP into their rooftop, the Prakriya home has created a self-sustaining water loop. Even if the rest of the city runs dry, this home continues to flush, clean, and reuse its water—demonstrating how independent homes can lead the water revolution from the top down.
Testimonial
"We don’t worry about water anymore. Our STP on the roof recycles everything from the toilets and kitchen, and it runs without power or chemicals. It just works—quietly, naturally, and daily."
— Homeowner, Prakriya Residence
The Results

100% of flushing demand met using treated sewage water
Zero chemical and zero electricity operation
Rooftop space creatively used for water recycling
No sewage connection or water tanker dependency
Water-insured home regardless of city-wide shortages
The Solution
RITEWAYS installed a compact rejuWATER® Soil BioFiltration STP on the rooftop of the Prakriya home. All blackwater from the kitchen, toilets, and bathrooms is first collected in a sewage tank at the ground level. The sewage is then pumped to the rooftop where it is biologically treated using rejuWATER®’s natural soil filtration process. The treated water is gravity-fed back for reuse in flushing—completely eliminating the use of fresh water for this purpose.

The Problem

With groundwater depleting rapidly and surface water increasingly polluted, urban homes are facing an impending water crisis. Independent homes and villas, despite having space and roof area, often rely heavily on tanker water and civic supply. At the Prakriya residence, the concern was clear—how to stay water-secure while remaining sustainable?
