Conclusion

The Foxconn labour camp’s need for a reliable, low-maintenance, and regulation-compliant STP was met with RITEWAYS' rejuWATER® solution. It turned a complex wastewater challenge into a sustainable and reusable water resource, proving to be a vital part of the site's environmental strategy.

Testimonial

"The rejuWATER® STP is a game-changer for construction sites like ours. It’s fast to install, easy to run, and helps us save water every day. Plus, it ticks all the compliance boxes."

— Project Engineer, Foxconn Site

The Results

  • Zero electricity, zero chemical usage

  • Compliance with environmental norms without delays

  • Reduced tanker water dependency by over 65%

  • Portable and reusable for future project sites

  • No skilled operators or continuous monitoring required

The Solution

RITEWAYS installed a 150 KLD rejuWATER® Soil BioFiltration STP at the site—an eco-friendly, chemical-free system that functions without power and requires no skilled manpower. The plant was deployed rapidly to handle wastewater from the labour colony and convert it into reusable water for toilet flushing, curing, and dust control.

The Problem

The Foxconn project site was housing a large labour camp, generating high-strength wastewater with concentrated organic load (BOD/COD). Unlike residential sewage, labour camp effluent lacks dilution from flushing systems, making it difficult for conventional electro-mechanical STPs to perform efficiently. With growing regulatory pressure and limited access to water for daily operations, the project urgently needed a sustainable sewage treatment solution.
