Conclusion

Chartered Beverly Hills stands as a shining example of how a committed community, paired with the right composting tool, can build a clean, green, and self-sustaining waste management model.

Testimonial

“We are extremely proud of our composting yard. The TALLBOY® has made it easy for us to manage our organic waste every single day. Our gardens thrive, and so does our commitment to the environment.”

RWA Member, Chartered Beverly Hills

The Results

The community has been diligently using the TALLBOY® system for over a decade. Today, they process all their organic waste on-site, producing rich, earthy compost daily. The compost is used in their gardens, saving money on fertilizers and closing the waste loop effectively. The system continues to run efficiently with minimal maintenance and no dependency on electricity or skilled operators.

The Solution

In 2017, Riteways installed the TALLBOY® Composting System at the community’s composting yard. This plug-in, natural composting unit was chosen for its aerobic, power-free operation and proven ability to handle daily volumes of food and garden waste. The Residents' Welfare Association (RWA) implemented structured waste segregation, ensuring only wet waste entered the composting yard, while dry waste was neatly stocked for weekly disposal.

The Problem

In a growing urban neighbourhood like South Bangalore, effective solid waste management was a growing concern. Chartered Beverly Hills, a premium apartment complex, wanted a sustainable solution that would not just comply with SWM Rules 2016, but also demonstrate responsible waste handling. They needed a system that was simple, eco-friendly, and could be managed without skilled manpower.
